I've been wanting more color in my kitchen window so I decided to make a beaded curtain. I measured and mapped out how long I wanted my strands to be first. and then just strung my beads on my twine, until they were done. I attached all the strands to a tention rod. Then topped the whole thing off with this sage green kitchen curtain. I love how it turned out.

Keep your green onions in a jar, with just enough water to cover the roots, on the windowsill instead of forgetting about them in the fridge drawer. They regrow fast, last longer, and honestly make me feel a little whimsical every time I snip what I need for dinner. Just change the water every few days to keep it from getting slimy.

Tiny habits like this make from-scratch cooking feel way more doable to me.
